"Good morning, Mommy!" Xara stumbled sleepily down the steps into the entryway.
Elaine picked him up off the bottom stepm walking into the living room with a little smile "I know I saw my favorite shirt somewhere... have you seen it, Xara?"
Xara gave a sheepish grin "It's right heeere, mommy," he touched his shoulder. "You SAID I could maybe sleep in it!"
"I did didn't I?.. did I say when?" she said, playfully strict.
"Nooo but you said I still could!"
"Hmm.. well I guess the only way to make it fair is... tummy tickles!" she laid him on the couch with a grin, tickling him.
He started laughing and kicking at her hands "Mommmyyy staahhp," he said, though his laughter.
"I don't think so.. you're a ticklable shirt thief," she tickled him a little more before he got the chance to roll himself off the couch.
"You can't catch me, I bet!" he ran to the other side of the room and she pretended to chase as he darted back and forth.
"I... gotacha!" she picked him up and spun him around. "I think the little shirt thief needs to go to breakfast jail."
He giggled, "Only if its GOOD breakfast jail!"
"That's the only kind of breakfast jail we've got!" she set him down in the kitchen and he pulled himself into a chair.
"Like eggs breakfast jail!"
"Eggs it is, but only for the cutest little shirt thief in the world!"
